How the numbers are calculated

  1. Base accuracy uses C = 1.2 × DEX + 2 × level + 0.6 × LUK. Beginner: floor(C ÷ 2.5 + 5). Warrior: floor(C ÷ 2.5 + 10). Bowman: floor(C ÷ 4.8 + 20). Thief: floor(C ÷ 4 + 15). Magician: floor((1.2 × INT + 2 × level + 0.6 × LUK) ÷ 5.1 + 20).
  2. Total accuracy is base accuracy plus the extra accuracy you enter.
  3. With L as the monster level minus your level (never below 0), adjusted accuracy A = total × 100 ÷ (10L + 255). Avoid of 0 always hits. If A − avoid reaches 25 + L × (0.5 × level + 15) the hit chance is 100%. Otherwise f = 0.15 + 0.2 ÷ (1 + e^((A − avoid) ÷ 12)) and the chance is (1 + f − avoid ÷ A) ÷ (2f), limited to 0–100%.
  4. ACC needed for 100% is the smallest whole-number total accuracy that reaches a 100% hit chance.

How is accuracy calculated in MapleStory Classic World?
Base accuracy comes from your job, level and stats (DEX for most jobs, INT for magicians, plus LUK). Equipment, potions and skills add to it. The result is compared with the monster's avoid and level to get your hit chance.
Is this the official formula?
No. It follows the formulas on the meowdb formulas page and the henesys.gg accuracy calculator, which we compared on 2026-10-29 and found identical. It is not an official Nexon formula and we have not verified it in game.
What does 'ACC needed for 100%' mean?
It is the smallest total accuracy (base plus extra) at which the formula gives a 100% chance to hit that monster at your level.
